Rolltop women's backpack, in rustic style. The model of the backpack recalls the retro-style Satchel of the early 1900s.

Backpack handmade by Italian craftsmen, of genuine Tuscan vegetable tanned leather with an aged effect.

Natural tanning is an ancient technique that dates back to two thousand years ago and developed in the lands of medieval Tuscany along the Arnò river. The leather is placed in a barrel with water containing natural dyes from plants and tree bark. To achieve the soft and flexible effect of leather, the barrels remain in a rotational and flapping movement for about 48 hours.

The surface of vegetable tanned leather has irregularities and roughness, it has different tones. This is not a defect, but the characteristic of real leather, tanned according to Tuscan traditions.

This backpack is warm brown colored with a touch of Made in Italy vintage charm.

External measurements: 25 x 10 cm., H. 32 cm.

Closure: the upper part rolls up and is fixed with 2 belts with a metal clip closures. The belts are equipped with buckles, which allow you to adjust the height of the closed backpack.

Designer and manufacturer: Tuscan leather company Chiarugi which was founded in 1969. Chiarugi has an artisan factory specialized in the production of classic style leather goods, according to the ancient traditional leather working techniques.
