Handbag with a beauty case compartment, made of true Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather.
Vegetable tanning is a technique that dates back to ancient times and developed in medieval Tuscany, in the lands along the Arnò river. The leather is placed in barrels with water containing tannins (natural dyes from plants) that are in circular motion. This technique allows for a softer and more flexible leather.
Attention! Naturally tanned leather has irregularities and roughness. This is not a defect, but is the characteristic of a real leather, tanned according to ancient Tuscan traditions.
