Elegant women's bag made of real vegetable tanned leather, with a vintage effect, in three contrasting tones.
Vegetable tanning is an ancient technique that dates back to the medieval period and developed in Tuscany in the lands located along the Arnò river. The skin is placed in a barrel with water containing tannins (natural dyes, coming from plants and tree bark).
While still wet, this leather is subjected to a particular process which gives it a worn and wrinkled effect, then it is rolled and squeezed, then left to dry for 6 weeks, then it is opened and buffed by hand to obtain the light and dark tones effects. The squeezes remain imprinted on the skin. This processing is 100% ecological.
